This is a blog dedicated to the small southern city of Sderot, Israel. The owner of this blog is a Sderot native who now resides in Canada and wants to share the beauty and tragedy of her hometown. The majority of pictures on this blog are taken in Sderot, but I will also share pictures of other beautiful Israeli cities.

shalom, shalom
a play on words that translates as “goodbye peace.” a sticker based on clinton’s words uttered after rabin was assassinated. clinton said at the funeral “shalom chaver.” (goodbye friend) that sticker became one of the most popular stickers in Israel post the assassination.
“Goodbye peace” describes the feeling some Israelis have nowadays.
